ADC Campaign: Political Associates Arrive in Osogbo to Rally Support for Najeem Salaam Ahead of Osun Governorship ElectionDate: 11th August 2026 / Abuja

OSOGBO, OSUN STATE — A political delegation has arrived in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, to join the African Democratic Congress (ADC) at the grand finale of its governorship campaign ahead of Saturday’s election.


In a statement, the delegation confirmed its arrival in the state alongside political associates to support the ADC governorship candidate, Dr. Najeem Folasayo Salaam (Iwaloye), during the final phase of campaign activities.

The delegation stated that its presence in Osogbo is aimed at mobilising support for the ADC candidate and making a final appeal to residents of Osun State ahead of the governorship poll.

“We are here to mobilise support for our candidate and make a final appeal to the people of Osun State to entrust the ADC with the responsibility of delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, and a better future for all,” the statement read.

The development comes as political parties intensify their final campaign efforts and seek to persuade voters across the state ahead of Saturday’s governorship election.

The ADC is expected to use the grand finale to present its concluding message to voters and strengthen mobilisation efforts ahead of the poll.
