Sam Aboyeji, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith despite the economic hardship and mounting pressures facing citizens across the country. Aboyeji gave the advice during the first District Convocation and District Anniversary of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Pleasure District, in Lagos. Represented at the event by the Ikeja Axis Coordinator, Rev. Ayomide Abraham, the cleric encouraged Nigerians to continue trusting God for better times while remaining grateful for His provisions.  He acknowledged the economic pressure associated with high petrol prices but urged citizens to also recognise developments in the country, including improvements in infrastructure and access to student loans. Tinubu Rules Out Negotiations with Kidnappers, Reaffirms Security Crackdown

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has declared that the Federal Government will never negotiate with kidnappers, terrorists, or other criminal groups threatening the nation's security.
Speaking on Thursday, the President reaffirmed his administration's commitment to tackling insecurity through decisive military action, stressing that Nigeria's security agencies will continue to pursue and confront criminal elements without paying ransom.
President Tinubu also revealed plans to establish state police as part of broader security reforms aimed at improving law enforcement and enhancing the ability of states to respond swiftly to local security challenges.
In addition, he announced that the Federal Government will expand military formations across the country to strengthen the operational capacity of the armed forces in the ongoing fight against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping, and other violent crimes.
The President emphasized that protecting the lives and property of Nigerians remains a top priority, assuring citizens that his administration is committed to restoring peace, stability, and public confidence in the nation's security architecture.
