Farmer Governor Umaru Bago Attends Burial of Late Chief F.A. Daramola in Ekiti

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, on Thursday joined prominent Nigerians at the burial ceremony of late Chief Francis Adebayo (F.A.) Daramola, father of former House of Representatives member, Hon. Bimbo Daramola.
The funeral service and outing ceremony took place at St. John's Anglican Church, Ire Ekiti, Ekiti State, attracting political leaders, family members, friends, and well-wishers who gathered to honour the life and legacy of the late elder statesman.
Among the dignitaries in attendance were the Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji; Senate Majority Leader, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele; former Ekiti State Governors Ayodele Fayose and Chief Segun Oni, as well as members of the National Assembly and other notable personalities.

Governor Bago joined the bereaved family and mourners in paying their final respects to the late Chief Daramola, whom he described as a man who lived an exemplary life dedicated to education, community service, and the advancement of humanity.
Speaking during the ceremony, the Niger State Governor said the occasion was not only a time of mourning but also a celebration of a life well lived.
He noted that Chief Daramola's remarkable attainment of 99 years, coupled with his enduring contributions to society, reflected God's grace and a legacy worthy of emulation.
Governor Bago further urged the children and family of the deceased to find comfort in the lasting impact and values their patriarch left behind, encouraging them to preserve his legacy of integrity, service, and commitment to community development.
Late Chief Francis Adebayo Daramola was a respected member of the Ekiti Council of Elders and served as the first elected Chairman of Oye Local Government Council between 1991 and 1993. He is remembered for his dedication to public service and his contributions to the development of Ekiti State
