KADUNA, NIGERIA – Twenty-seven victims of the recent attack on Naridon village in Southern Kaduna were laid to rest earlier today, bringing the total number of those buried to 30.
According to reports, the victims were killed in an attack allegedly carried out by suspected Fulani militants. Three of the deceased had been buried in the days following the incident, while the remaining 27 were buried during a mass funeral attended by grieving families, community leaders, and sympathizers.
The killings have thrown the Naridon community into mourning and renewed concerns over the persistent security challenges facing parts of Southern Kaduna.
