BREAKING: Hardship: Foursquare GO Urges Nigerians Not to Abandon Faith

Sam Aboyeji, has urged Nigerians to remain steadfast in their faith despite the economic hardship and mounting pressures facing citizens across the country. Aboyeji gave the advice during the first District Convocation and District Anniversary of the Foursquare Gospel Church, Pleasure District, in Lagos. Represented at the event by the Ikeja Axis Coordinator, Rev. Ayomide Abraham, the cleric encouraged Nigerians to continue trusting God for better times while remaining grateful for His provisions.  He acknowledged the economic pressure associated with high petrol prices but urged citizens to also recognise developments in the country, including improvements in infrastructure and access to student loans. WASHINGTON, D.C. — September 20, 2026: 

United States President Donald Trump has cut short his weekend stay at Camp David and returned to the White House a day earlier than originally scheduled, as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East. 
The development came shortly after Saudi Arabia said its air-defence forces intercepted a ballistic missile fired toward Riyadh by Yemen’s Houthi movement on Saturday.
The Saudi-led coalition said the missile was destroyed before reaching the Saudi capital, while the Houthis claimed they had targeted what they described as “sensitive sites” in Riyadh. 
The incident has heightened concerns about a wider escalation in the region. The U.S. State Department and several American diplomatic missions issued security warnings, urging Americans in the Middle East to exercise increased caution and warning that the conflict could escalate rapidly. 
Although Trump’s administration did not publicly give a reason for the change in his schedule, his unexpected return to Washington came against the backdrop of the latest Houthi attack and growing regional tensions.
The White House had initially indicated that Trump would remain at Camp David through the weekend before returning on Sunday.
The latest development is being closely watched as Washington assesses the evolving security situation involving Saudi Arabia, Yemen and other actors across the Middle East.
